I love being a Northern Virginia wedding photographer because of all the stunning venues, and The Stable at Bluemont Vineyards is definitely one of them. Perched high above the valley with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it’s the kind of place where every moment feels cinematic. This May wedding at Bluemont was full of light, laughter, and all the magic that comes with love and good music.
The couple chose Bluemont Vineyards for its breathtaking scenery and warm, rustic charm. Their Jewish ceremony overlooked the vineyards under bright afternoon sun, which later transitioned to a soft and romantic blue hour. Their ceremony featured heartfelt vows, laughter under the chuppah, and a joyful glass-breaking moment that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
As a DMV wedding photographer, I live for lighting like this. During golden hour, we wandered through the vines for portraits that glowed with warmth and ease- the kind of dreamy, timeless images that capture exactly how the day felt. Then came blue hour, when the light turned soft and romantic and The Stable filled with twinkling lights, clinking glasses, and so much love in the air.
Inside the reception space, guests were treated to the perfect atmosphere: cozy candlelight, mountain views through the windows, and an incredible live band that kept the dance floor full all night long. Between the traditional hora, impromptu sing-alongs, and happy chaos of it all, it was a celebration that perfectly reflected this couple’s playful, genuine energy.
