There’s something magical about early mornings in D.C., especially at The REACH at the Kennedy Center. The sunlight is just right, the architecture comes alive with clean lines and soft reflections, and the world feels just a little quieter. It was the perfect backdrop for this elegant, but playful couple.
From the very start, their chemistry made photographing them effortless. We explored every corner of The REACH, using the curves of the white walls, the geometric steps, and that soft golden light to bring out different moods throughout the session. One moment was romantic and cinematic, the next full of laughter and movement. We even made a GIF out of one the amazing angles available here!
This morning together gave me such a great glimpse into their personalities—kind, funny, and totally in sync. It also made me even more excited for their wedding day, which just recently took place (stay tuned for those photos!).
I love sessions like this one because they remind me how much creativity can come from simply playing with light and space, and how every couple brings their own energy to it.
