This late-summer wedding at the Cosmos Club was such a beautiful mix of elegance and warmth. The venue itself has that classic DC charm with its tall windows, polished architecture, and tons of history, but what stood out most was how relaxed and genuine the day felt.

The couple kept things intimate, inviting only their closest family and friends, and even made sure to include the kids. That choice set such a fun, easygoing tone for the day. Between heartfelt toasts and spontaneous group photos out in the garden, it felt like everyone could just enjoy being together. The couple even brought out birthday cake to celebrate some recent birthdays! And during the ceremony, they incorporated Mongolian cultural elements in thoughtful ways, adding meaning and personality to their celebration without making it feel overly formal.

Photographing them around the Cosmos Club was a dream- soft late-summer light, elegant architecture, and a couple who truly cared about everyone in the room. You could feel it in every interaction. Some of the couple’s portraits were taken in the Cosmos Club ballroom which was absolutely majestic- high ceilings, intricate details, and that soft glow from the chandeliers that makes everything feel timeless. It’s one of those spaces that doesn’t need much to look stunning.

If you’re planning a Cosmos Club wedding or looking for a Washington DC wedding venue that feels both elegant and welcoming, this space offers the perfect balance, but it’s only available to members or those who know one. 😉
